I need a CHOCOLATE CAKE recipe. Homemade : ) Thanks?

Please tell me where you got the recipe from : )

Combine in a mixing bowl:
3 cups of all purpose flour
2 cups of white sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 cup of cocoa powder

In a measuring cup, combine:
2 tsp vanilla
2 tablespoons of white vinegar
add enough vegetable/canola oil to make one cup

Pour the vanilla/vinegar/oil and 2 cups of cold water into the dry ingredients and mix.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Frost with buttercream frosting (the recipe is on the Domino confectioner’s sugar box).

This recipe is delicious, but I don’t know the source. It’s always been in the family.
