How do you add cream to a cake recipe?
Has anyone tried adding any of these ingredients to a cake recipe?
Buttermilk
philadelphia Cheese
Yoghurt
Whipped Cream
How would you do it? What would you take out or add?
The cake I want to bake has flour sugar milk and eggs in it.
You can replace the milk with buttermilk or yogurt……But unless a recipe ask for whipped cream or cream cheese I wouldn’t add those…Baking is about the chemistry of the ingredients…If you alter that chemistry… your cake may fail…………
